Polish holiday for children from Japan

Polish holiday for children from Japan
a
Traditional Karate Federation of Poland arranges the nobly project under the name: “Polish holiday for children from Japan”. Because of a long-term cooperation and intimate friendship between Japan and Poland, we couldn’t stay indifferent to suffering and heavy toll caused by the earthquake and tsunami.

We should like to invite about 30 children from Japan to spend 2 weeks of the upcoming holiday (24.07-10.08.2011) in Poland at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre “Dojo – Stara Wies”. We would like to arrange for children a lot of activities and travels e.g. to Warsaw, Krakow and Gdansk. We are planning to proceed that project for the next 5 years.

A lot of organizations, foundations and individual people have involved and offered their assistance to our nobly project. We have already had a support from Mr. Lech Walesa – former President of Poland, Nobel Pease Prize recipient, who consented to be the Chairman of the Honorary Committee. Moreover Mr. Jerzy Pomianowski – former Ambassador of Poland in Japan and the President of Polish Aikido Federation agreed to act as Secretary of Honorary Committee. Mr. Radosław Sikorski – the Minister of Foreign Affairs took the Honorary Patronage of that undertaking. We have also received support from Mrs. Jadwiga Maria Rodowicz - Ambassador of Poland in Tokyo, Mr. Richard Jorgensen - Chairman of International Traditional Karate Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the local authorities and many others.
